Nära Frånvaro

All human activity leaves subtle marks in their surroundings – which may take the form of forsaken items, or rather, the void left behind of something that was once there. They can infer memories so powerful that they have the ability to transport the beholder to another time and place, or they might remind us of the absolute transience of things. This inspired me to create Nära Frånvaro - the English equivalent would be the Presence of the Absent, a book in which I examine the relationship between the attractive and the repulsive in the quest for a sense of the familiar but yet absent
